Translated doesn’t always mean globally ready.
Find the internationalization defects that translation alone won’t fix. Get evidence of what is broken, which issues threaten your target markets, and what engineering should fix first.
Expert-led assessment for React and TypeScript web applications.
Any source language
Your application's current or primary UI language does not need to be English. We can assess internationalization readiness and help prepare applications for additional languages and regions, regardless of the language they were originally designed for.
Software companies preparing for international expansion or experiencing recurring globalization defects, without enough internal internationalization expertise.
Start here if your product is translated but still has locale-specific failures, your international launch has technical unknowns, or your engineering team needs a prioritized remediation plan.
An executive readiness summary
Category scores with supporting evidence and testing coverage
Prioritized findings tied to source code or application behavior
Reproduction steps and recommended fixes
A remediation roadmap with effort ranges
A findings walkthrough with engineering and product stakeholders
Untested areas are explicitly identified. A high aggregate score does not override a critical launch blocker.
One React/TypeScript web application, with repository boundaries agreed before work begins
Three agreed critical user journeys
Two target locales plus a pseudo-locale
Automated and AI-assisted scanning within the agreed repository scope, with expert review of shared i18n architecture and relevant code
Runtime testing and code tracing for the agreed journeys: strings, messages, formatting, input validation, layout, locale switching and fallback behavior
Review of relevant localization and build configuration
Typically delivered over three calendar weeks after scope, access and environment readiness are confirmed
This is a scoped assessment, not an exhaustive line-by-line review of the entire repository or testing of every feature and locale. Larger repositories may require selected packages or directories, or a separately quoted expanded engagement.
1. Scope. Agree on target markets, user journeys, repository boundaries, access and success criteria.
2. Assess. Expert-led assessment supported by automated checks, runtime tests and AI-assisted analysis. Findings are reviewed before delivery.
3. Prioritize. Review the evidence together and agree on a practical engineering roadmap.
Code access, confidentiality and permitted AI processing are agreed before the assessment starts. Remediation and automation can be scoped separately.
Dates, numbers, plural messages, search, text wrapping and right-to-left layouts can fail even when the words are translated.
One locale can reveal a problem that affects many other locales / markets.
The examples show selected languages, but the underlying issues often come from shared application logic. A formatting, validation or text-handling defect may affect several locales—not just the one illustrated. Impact can differ by language and content, so a shared fix still needs representative testing. Our assessments distinguish demonstrated failures, potentially affected locales and verified coverage.

The Northstar customer portal illustrates intentionally seeded defects and their fixes. It is not a live assessment of a customer application.

An expert-led internationalization assessment of one React/TypeScript web application, combining scoped source-code analysis with testing of three agreed user journeys across two target locales and a pseudo-locale.
Includes prioritized findings, supporting evidence, a remediation roadmap and a findings walkthrough.
Typically delivered over three calendar weeks after scope and access are confirmed. Repository boundaries and testing coverage are agreed before work begins. Larger applications or expanded coverage are quoted separately.
Not included: implementation or remediation, post-fix verification, exhaustive line-by-line repository review, testing of every feature or locale, translation production, comprehensive linguistic review, legal compliance approval, or a guarantee that every defect has been found.
Design partners: customers pay for a useful assessment and provide structured feedback. Any testimonial, reference or publication of results requires separate permission.
GlobalizeApp is an independent consultancy led by Manabu Okuhara. You work directly with Manabu—from initial scoping through assessment and the findings walkthrough.
Automated tools and AI assist the analysis; Manabu reviews the findings and develops the recommendations.
Tell us about your application, target markets and launch timeline. We will discuss whether the assessment fits your needs and what access is required.
